Lughnasadh …a celebration of the First Harvest

August 3, 6:00 am - 8:00 pm

Lughnasadh is the time of the year when summer starts turning towards autumn. It is also the time of the first harvest, and is the first of three harvest ceremonies.

In Arizona, Lughnasadh is a time to be thankful for the rains and for the bounty of the land. It is a time to gather with friends and kin in merriment.

EarthLove Fellowship: FoDLA Druids of the Light will be meeting on the lawn behind Unity of Sedona on Saturday evening, August 3rd, 2019 at 6:00 pm, to honor this time of bounty.

The ceremony is approximately 45 minutes long, and there will be a time of socializing after the ritual. Please bring light snacks to share after ritual.

Suggested love offering of $10, but none will be turned away for lack of funds.

Location: The lawn behind Unity of Sedona

Druid Linda Mae has been following the path of the ancient Druids for over 25 years. She was ordained as clergy several
years ago by the Fellowship of Druidism in the Latter Age (FoDLA) and is the founder of her own Druid organization called Druids of the Light, which focuses on anchoring the Light of the Heavens onto the Earth.

Linda Mae has been presenting public ritual and classes since 1991 to teach others more about history, lore, and application of this interesting and colorful culture, and is currently accepting students who are interested in deeper training. Her introductory book to the Druid path, Ancient Wisdom Now, is available and can be found in the Unity bookstore.
