Ongoing Groups

Here at Unity of Sedona, we have several ongoing groups. Located in Sedona amidst the panoramic views of our majestic, world-famous Red Rocks; in this mecca of spiritual awareness and personal evolution, we invite you to check out whichever group(s) you feel called to.

AA Upon Awakening / 11th Step Group

Days: Monday-Friday
Time: 7:30-8:45am
Location: Meeting Room

Step 11 is “Commit to a Spiritual Practice”. This step helps to create a solid foundation for a peaceful and fulfilled life and to develop a more positive way of thinking, which will better serve you moving forward. A daily spiritual practice can help to promote emotional balance and stability.

In this group, there will be two periods of meditation with a period of discussion between them.

Co-Dependents Anonymous

Day: Tuesdays  Time: 5:30-6:30pm
Location: Meeting Room

Co-Dependents Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women whose common purpose is to develop healthy relationships. The only requirement for membership is a desire for healthy and loving relationships. We gather together to support and share with each other in a journey of self-discovery, learning to love the self. For more information, please go to

Adult Children of Alcoholics/Dysfunctional Families (ACA)

Day: Wednesdays  Time: 6:00-7:00pm
Location: Meeting Room

ACA is a spiritual, twelve-step program based on action coming from love. ACA is not aligned with any sect nor denomination, but we stress spiritual awareness as part of our daily lives. In Adult Children of Alcoholics/Dysfunctional Families, we believe the experiences of growing up in a dysfunctional family affect us as adults. We felt like we were on the outside looking in. Whatever our path, we found no lasting help until we found ACA.

Refuge Recovery

Day: Thursdays Time: 5:30-6:30pm
Location: Meeting Room

Refuge Recovery is a Buddhist-oriented, non-theistic recovery program that believes that "All people have the power and potential to free themselves from suffering".
In fact, no previous experience or knowledge of Buddhism is required. Recovery is possible, and this program provides a systematic approach to treating and recovering from all forms of addiction. When sincerely practiced, the program can ensure a life-long sense of well-being and happiness. For more information, please go to or email us at

Sedona Sages / Mankind Project (SS)

Day: Thursdays  Time: 7:00 – 9:30pm
Location: Outdoor Fire Pit

The Mankind Project is a global network of free peer-facilitated men’s groups, that support men in leading lives of integrity, authenticity, and service. We believe that emotionally mature, powerful, compassionate, and purpose-driven men will help heal some of our society’s deepest wounds. We meet every Thursday for 2 1/2 hours at Unity, presently outside around a fire pit. New men are welcome. If interested, please call either Robert 928-301-4104 or David 928-451-1250.

Safe Passage

Day: Every 3rd Saturday
Time: 9:30am – 11:00am
Location: Meeting Room

Safe Passage is a group established for those in grief due to the loss of a loved one. Safe Passage is a place to be heard surrounded by like-minded souls that have shared a part of life that is a loss of a loved one.

The group will be facilitated by a Chaplain, of Unity of Sedona.

The meetings will be held each 3rd Saturday of the month at Unity of Sedona from 9:30 to 11:00am held in the meeting room. Call 928-282-7181.

Chaplain Sacred Circle

Day: Every Sunday after service
Time: 11:30am-Noon
Location: Sanctuary
Cost: Free

The Sacred Chaplain Circles have returned to their original format wherein a Chaplain (or a scheduled guest) sits in the center of our Sacred Circle and receives a “download” of love, support, and healing–which usually results in miracles of various forms. Be sure to join us if you can, as this is sure to assist you with your own prayer and healing skills. If you are not a chaplain and would like to schedule an appointment to attend the Sacred Circle to receive healing energy, please email the Unity office  or call (928) 282-7181 with your contact information and we will forward your request to our Lead Chaplains. One of them will get in contact with you to set up an appointment to attend the healing circle.

Volunteer Day

Day: Monthly
Time: 11:30am – 1:30pm

Please join us on the third Saturday of every month for our Volunteer Day to spruce up our beautiful landscape, pruning, cleaning and planting. Please let us know by calling the office at (928) 282-7181 if you will be joining us. Thank you for your Divine Service to our Unity family.
